Expert
Christine began her career in the world of training and professional development. It all began in the small Canadian start-up Time-on-my-side, where she worked with companies to help them improve their efficiency at work through time management. After 10 years of experience in the field, she pursued two of her interests: business-to-business sales and the pursuit of employee well-being. The latter was particularly neglected in the business world, in her opinion. She went on to work in customer success for a large multi-national corporate health organization offering employee assistance programs for over 20 years.
Helping public safety personnel
During the first 30 years of her career, Christine came into contact with more and more public safety personnel whose well-being was suffering. Helping these people, whom she considers very important to society, quickly became a passion as well as a field of expertise for her. Since public safety personnel often suffer from sleep disorders such as insomnia, Christine’s arrival at HALEO was a logical extension of her career and personal goals.
Support
While HALEO’s mission is to help people sleep better and, at the same time, improve their well-being, it’s not just external individuals who receive help. On joining HALEO, Christine was impressed by the atmosphere of mutual support and cooperation among team members. Everyone wants to achieve the same goal, so they pool their varied expertise to make it happen. Her expertise with public safety personnel was a welcome addition to the team.
Business development
Since joining the company, Christine has quickly become HALEO’s representative to all public safety personnel throughout the United States and Canada, with the exception of Quebec. By combining her English mother tongue with her expertise, she has filled a gap at HALEO that was preventing the company from expanding into the rest of the English-speaking territory in North America.
