Karina Pepin, Marketing Director at HALEO
“It's when I talk about HALEO at an event, whether it's with a potential customer or just those around me, that it becomes clear how much I love what we do here. Because HALEO is beautiful: it really helps people. We don't sell dreams, and I'm super proud of that!”
It's now just over 12 years since Karina began her career in marketing, and the last 8 have been in the healthcare field. She worked in sleep apnea clinics, slowly but surely paving the way for her arrival at HALEO. During these years, she developed numerous projects, bringing to life the marketing departments of several emerging companies, putting in place structures and strategies that are here to stay. She has also become an expert in B2B, B2C and H2H (human to human) marketing strategies, although she prefers the latter.
At HALEO, Karina is Marketing Director. As part of her role, in addition to participating in executive decision-making, she of course leads the marketing team, training the next generation of talents to the standards of the industry and driving forward numerous projects of vital importance to the company. These range from contacts with new partners to the automation of marketing processes, as well as participation in key tactics such as public relations, conventions and content strategy, among others.
Her main objective is to develop and execute B2B, B2C and B2B2C marketing strategies, while deploying effective tactics to generate new leads to improve health and safety in the workplace.
Karina has always had a soft spot for emerging companies, and quickly specialized in their growth. Up until now, she's always worked where everything remained to be done, and despite the big projects, budgets were sometimes tight. However, this hasn't stopped her from using her creativity and marketing expertise to launch successful projects and solidify the marketing approach wherever she works. It also brought her into contact with a wide variety of environments, enabling her to find her way around the business development and customer success teams.
This, among other things, is one of the things she advocates in the workplace. Not only does she strive to be the best at what she does, but she also takes a more global view of operations to understand her colleagues' objectives. This enables her to take actions that are optimal for the company, and to ensure that excellence is at the heart of the company's decisions.
