Dr. Maude Bouchard has accumulated over 15 years of expertise in the field of sleep. She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at the Université de Montréal under the supervision of Dr. Julie Carrier, an internationally renowned sleep researcher. During her studies, which culminated in a PhD in Clinical Neuropsychology, she was awarded several fellowships for research and excellence, including the prestigious Vanier Banting Fellowship, the highest research distinction for Canadian doctoral students.  

Influential

Dr. Bouchard has published her work in leading scientific journals such as Sleep and eLife, and has given numerous national and international lectures over the years. Numerous media appearances enable her to explain and popularize the scientific concepts of sleep in a way that everyone can understand. In the end, for her, it's really the advances in science and the opportunity to help people that count.

Driven by a passion for teaching and knowledge transfer, Dr. Maude Bouchard was an assistant professor at the City College of New York and a lecturer at the Université de Montréal and the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi during her own studies. Actively involved with the community, she frequently participates in conferences and interviews, discussing with the general public the crucial role of sleep in our overall health, as well as treatment options.

Research & Development

After serving as Clinical Manager for the U.S. and international markets, Dr. Bouchard is currently Director of Research and Development at HALEO. In this role, she is responsible for developing the best programs for people suffering from sleep disorders. She also pursues scientific innovation in the field of sleep psychology. In addition, she is responsible for certain research partnerships, and supports the work of her colleagues by complementing their expertise and knowledge on the subject with her own.
