Now it's the turn of Taís Araújo, PhD, psychologist and Clinical Director at HALEO, to share her views on the time change and its consequences. In her opinion, the time change and the disturbances it brings into our lives are a good time to become aware of the importance of sleep.
She shared her opinion with the Journal de Montréal on March 8, reminding everyone that sleep is something that can be worked on. For example, it's possible to plan your sleep schedule to suit your atypical schedule, maintain a good sleep hygiene and expose yourself to natural light during the day. It would also be wise to opt for gradual transitions in our sleeping hours if a change in our schedule, such as a time change, is required.
