“The idea is to ask yourself: do we really need this?”
These are the words of Dr. Maude Bouchard, neuropsychologist and Director of Research and Development at HALEO. According to her and her expertise, the time change disrupts the brain's biological clock. What's more, we need to understand that the economic imperatives that forced the introduction of the time change in 1940 are no longer as present as they were then.
To shed some light on the issue in the run-up to the final time change of 2024, Dr. Bouchard talks to Radio-Canada about the scientific community's opinion.
