Time change is fast approaching, and the option of abolishing it for good is of interest to the Quebec government, which is closely watching its colleagues in the Yukon who have already taken the plunge. But why abolish the time change?
Dr. Maude Bouchard, neuropsychologist and Director of Research and Development at HALEO, spoke to Radio-Canada about the issue. According to her, the time change has harmful effects on sleep by temporarily deranging the human brain's biological clock. In this interview, she explains the concepts to consider before plunging one's head into the debate, and how to improve the quality of our sleep.
