Time change: thinking about our sleep - TVA Nouvelles

Now it's the turn of Taís Araújo, PhD, psychologist and Clinical Director at HALEO, to share her views on the time change and sleep in general. She previously appeared in the digital pages of Le Journal de Montréal, and now it's the turn of TVA Nouvelles' readers to learn more about the importance of sleep, especially during the time change.
She would like to remind everyone that there are many aspects to consider in order to get a good night's sleep. For example, it's useful to plan your sleep schedule to suit your atypical work schedule, and to maintain good sleep hygiene. Exposure to natural light during the day also helps to calibrate our circadian cycles and therefore our desire for sleep, while reducing exposure to blue light from digital screens in the evening promotes the production of melatonin, a sleep hormone.
If you have more specific questions about your sleep, don't hesitate to fill in our online questionnaire or contact our team.
